Biography

Trag Tha God is an African American Hip Hip songwriter and producer from New Britain, CT.

Born in 1995, Trag Tha God first started writing and recording music at the age of 7. Without any family members having a background in music and out of necessity, Trag Tha God educated himself in the arts of recording, mixing, mastering and producing music; all by the age of 12. He was originally known as Tragedy but at the age of 16, he cut it down and added "Tha God"; Trag Tha God was born. 

Trag has released over 15 mixtapes in his career including the highly touted "King Me Later" series and his most accomplished mixtape, "Where’s My Recognition", which garnered over 100,000 listens in 6 months.

Trag has released 5 studio albums; "Teenage Dreamer" (2011), "Greatness Over Deception" (2013), "Greatness Over Deception 2" (2015), "Forever Yourz" (2017) and "The Rose That Grew" (2021). To date,  "Forever Yourz" is his most successful album having accumulated well over 150K streams across all platforms and peaked at #24 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts.
